In all workplace sector areas, IPAF Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) training is necessary.

IPAF MEWP teaches students how to properly prepare and operate a variety of MEWPs, such as a scissor lift and cherry picker.

MEWPs are commonly used for temporary access in situations such as building repair, construction, and airports. Firefighters also utilise MEWPs for emergency access, and they are equipped with fire hoses (cannons). MEWPs can also be equipped with compressed air attachments as well as power outlets for heavy-duty power equipment.
