Who is this course aimed at?

This is a refresher course for operatives and supervisors who perform excavations and other work on the public highway and need to renew their Streetworks accreditation. It includes refresher training as well as examinations.

The content of the course comprises the following:

• Signing, lighting, and guarding
• Excavation in the highway
• Reinstatement and compaction of backfill materials
• Reinstatement of non-bituminous sub-base and road-base materials
• Laying practises and reinstatement of cold lay bituminous materials
• Reinstatement of modular surfaces and concrete footways
• Detection of buried services

Upon completion of the course, you will receive a certificate.

Candidates must complete a 30-minute question paper for each unit. The qualifications of successful candidates will be renewed.
