Crane/Lifting Operations Supervisor
Any delegate who will be responsible for managing and supervising crane lifting operations should attend the crane supervisor training. The crane and lifting operations supervisor course lasts three days and includes both practical and classroom instruction, as well as a one-day exam.
The training is appropriate for both new and experienced crane operators. The training complies with federal health and safety requirements, which are meant to keep operators and others safe while at work. Candidates will learn how to recognise, analyse, and overcome possible crane-related dangers.
Our centre is manned by industry-experienced teachers that are properly qualified. We provide training to businesses of all sizes and types, including crane supervisor courses and a variety of other plant and site-based safety credentials. You may go through all of our courses online or give us a call if you have any questions about the programmes we offer.
Participant Requirements
Every course is tailored to the needs of the participants, ensuring that they have the highest opportunity of succeeding. When meeting the course teacher, attendees are requested to reveal their level of expertise and knowledge.
Within the last two years, delegates must have passed the CITB Construction Skills Health and Safety course. Attendees must also have a solid working understanding of both written and spoken English.
Who Should Take The Crane Supervisor Course?
Delegates of all skill levels are welcome to attend the crane lifting supervisor training. Delegates will learn everything from the fundamentals of crane operation to risk analysis and the execution of a risk aversion plan. As a result, the crane supervisor training is appropriate for persons of various skill levels and levels of crane expertise.
Course Objectives
The training is designed to meet the BS7121 British Standard Code of Practice for the Safe Use of Cranes. BS7121 provides best practise recommendations, and failing to satisfy the requirements implies that a firm or organisation has not met the appropriate criteria in creating a safe working environment.
What Will Participants Learn?
The crane supervisor course includes both academic and practical components. The details of BS7121 and other related standards will be taught to delegates. They will learn how to conduct risk assessments in order to identify and reduce dangers.
Students will be able to create a Method Statement that explains how to operate with safe systems and how to choose and utilise the best crane for the job based on the weather, the kind and characteristics of the weight to be carried, and other considerations.
