ES to SWL 2

ES to SWL 2

ES to SWL 2This course is for anyone who want to upgrade their ES skills to SWL 2. They will have been selected by their line manager/sponsor in order to complete the SWL conversion and gain competency.

Anyone who is responsible for planning and establishing a safe system of work on or near the line for a group must have the SWL competency (two or more). An SWL can also perform the responsibilities of an IWA if no medical constraints hinder them from doing so.

Prior to attending the course, all delegates must have completed the e-learning evaluation and have the certificate with them.

Prior to attending the course, you must have successfully completed the current e-learning assessment (within the past 3 months) and have the certificate with you. The candidate will not be allowed to attend the course if no certificate is supplied.

In accordance with NR/L2/OHS/00124 Competence Specific Fitness Medical Requirements, it is the Sponsor’s duty to verify that applicants booked onto the course are eligible for the training they will receive, as well as any applicable medical level or limitation that may apply.

Candidates should be informed that they will be treated as if they were at work when attending a training event, and they must adhere to the relevant medical policy as well as carry their Sentinel Smartcard (if applicable), which will be swiped at the start of the session.
