Who is this qualification for and what is its purpose?
The purpose of this qualification is to recognise an individual’s knowledge, abilities, and competence in the workplace. Individuals who specialise in general construction contracting management can demonstrate their proficiency with this Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Construction Contracting Operations Management – General.
Employees in the Construction & Built Environment industry who operate in a variety of fields would benefit from this qualification. It is intended to test occupational competence in situations where learners have managerial responsibilities, technical skills, and knowledge at the level expected by the construction sector for their employment. These should cover a wide range of activities and include a significant amount of personal responsibility and autonomy.
This qualification’s modules are based on National Occupational Standards.
Aim of the Course
This is the new QCF NVQ, which replaces the former Level 4 Construction Contracting Operations certification. ESTIMATING, BUYING, PLANNING, SURVEYING, and GENERAL are the paths. A learner must demonstrate proficiency in a set of mandatory units, with the remaining credits earned through the units provided for the specific pathways.
