Crane Supervisor NVQ Level 4 Diploma
Who is this qualification for and what is its purpose?
Individuals with a red CPCS card who need to complete the required NVQ in order to convert to a blue CPCS Competent Operator Card should enrol in this programme. The qualification can be completed by those who do not follow the CPCS Scheme to prove their competency in the profession of Crane-Lift Supervisor.
Assessment Techniques
Candidates must collect naturally occurring work-based evidence to obtain the qualification, which may comprise some or all of the following:
- Customer correspondence, inquiry forms, and request forms for site visits
- Drawings from the initial site visit, as well as any supporting paperwork/photographs
- Method Statements/Risk Assessments, Job Sheets, Time Sheets, Crane Duty Charts, and more
- Copies of your CPCS card and any training certificates you may have
- Any other documents that the assessor and candidate both agree is valid.

- NVQ Level 4 Diploma
- CPCS Blue Competency A62 Crane Lift Supervisor (To apply for the card, candidates must have a current touch screen Health and Safety Test.)
